WHAT IF GOD IS TRYING TO SHOW YOU SOMETHING YOU HAVEN’T SEEN YET?
Sometimes the answer isn’t that God needs to change our situation.
Sometimes God needs to change what we see.
This Sunday, we continue 40 Days in the Word with Week 4: SEEING WHAT GOD WANTS ME TO SEE.
We’re talking about illumination—allowing the Holy Spirit to show us the meaning of God’s Word and how it applies to our lives.
When God opens our eyes, we can begin to see things differently:
> The solution to a problem we couldn't see before.
> The barrier to our progress that we've been overlooking.
God's protection when we feel surrounded.
God walking with us when we thought we were alone.
And maybe that's the prayer some of us need to pray right now:
“Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.” — Psalm 119:18
Because sometimes you can be looking directly at something...
and still not see what God wants you to see.
This week we're going to talk about how we prepare ourselves to hear from God—coming to Him in faith, with humility, a clean heart, and a willingness in advance to do what He says.
** LET'S ENGAGE:
Finish this sentence...
“God, open my eyes concerning __________.”
You don't have to tell the whole story. One word is enough.
Family. Purpose. Marriage. Direction. Finances. Future. Faith. Relationships. Myself.
Then join us Sunday. Bring your Bible. Bring somebody with you. And come with this prayer:
“Lord, show me what You want me to see.”
LOVE THE WORD.
LEARN THE WORD.
LIVE THE WORD.
Share this with somebody who's been praying for clarity. Maybe what they need isn't another opinion—maybe they need God to open their eyes.
